Do you want to issue a provisional improvement notice (PIN) or order a worker to stop work? What steps should you take, and what are the decisions that you must male?

The following decision tree helps you to make those choices. The important step to remember is "consultation". Little should ever happen without open and fair consultation, except in exceptional curcumstances.
